Everyone’s big on carrot and celery sticks, so why not pumpkin? They take on almost any flavour. They don’t brown like raw potatoes (which I enjoy a little each time I peel some for a meal), they don’t dry out easily, they have a bright yellow color like little else.
…and what vegetable is cheaper….well?
