Did Someone Say BBQ?

Once in a bit I like that kind of carcinogenic treat. When I do make the effort, I cover the entire surface of the grill and save tn propane. What we don’t eat at one sitting will go into the freezer for quick delights later.

Anyways, I thought it was a good time to spread my recipes for BBQ Sauce. I make a basic recipe and then add somethings later to vary the taste.


My Recipe. After I made this one I decided to kick it up a notch and changed the vinegar in the basic sauce to 2 cups and the molasses to 6 tablespoons.



A double batch on the way.



Enough for the next year – no sense in making the mess too often.

    Wonderful, love the post! I make my own BBQ sauce as well! This is one of those things I really prefer to make myself. I use liquid smoke in mine and love it. I see you have optional ingredients, beer or coke. What about Jack Daniels? I have never tried it but there is a brand made with that and it was my absolute favorite!

    I still LOVE my birthday sauce and make it all the time! Thank you. Hey just wondering – why doesn’t your Grill have two burners so you can just use one side at a time?

      It does, have 2 sides, but the more I do at once the less time it takes per amount of food. You think I’m over doing it don’t you!
